Mike has been playing professional poker 28 years, before poker there was gymnastics the army, ballroom dancing and salesman. Mike won one World Series of Poker bracelet 1989 for seven-card stud split.
Mike has become an ambassador for poker through the years he currently is helping Party poker serving as a host and a consultant and hosting the WPT with Vince Van Patten on the travel channel. He also writes for gambling times and Cardplayer magazine.
In the past mike created a tournament that was for the best of the best called the Tournament of Champions of Poker. This event was held once a year where the only stipulation for entry was to win a tournament the previous year.
