Not being the most intimidating player at the table can be a good thing. Jennifer Harman at 5’2 and less than 100 lbs is like a snake in the grass, and that deception has cost a few players some loot. Men in general believe that women just can’t play poker can’t bluff and are easily intimidated and that is just not the case with Jennifer.
Jennifer started to become interested in poker when she was just 8 years old. Watching her dad who when down a couple hundred bucks would let her play his hands telling her t get him even and she usually would. Back then the game was generally considered a man’s game and Jennifer has climbed to the top of this man’s world in poker.
She started playing 10/20 limit hold’em an moved from there to 20/40, 30/60, 75/150, 200/400 and has been seen more than a few times with over a million dollars in chips in front of her at a 20,000/40,000 game. She once borrowed 50,000 from a friend 1993 when her life was going thru some changes but those days are long since gone now. With a two World Series of Poker bracelets under her belt this woman is not just a great female poker player but a great poker player that has made her mark on the poker world.
