Dutch BoydNickname: Dutch Boyd
Name: Russ Boyd
From: Missouri
Dutch Boyd was a child genius at age 11 he was moved up a couple grades and soon he would be taking college classes. He would go on to spend 2 short years and get his associates degree and shortly after get his bachelors degree. After that, he went to law school and had his degree by the time he was 18. He left that because most of the lawyers that he worked for didn’t really make that much and weren't happy with there jobs so he decided to change his course.
While in law school he saw the movie Rounders which was about to change him. He went to the library and checked out the only book on poker that they had. Then he found a free online poker site that offered $100 for every 1 million in free chips. Soon he was making the $100 every 3 or 4 days. They soon changed their rules and he moved to another site.
He opened a poker site that was called "pokerspot" but it went broke and then there were big rumors that Dutch pocketed the cash and cheated his depositors. He claims that that isn’t true and he tried to raise funds by selling the software and the 8500 player list but this fell thru as well. He is now working on another poker site called rakefree. He was recently seen on television on the World Series of Poker 2003 where he finished 12th. As a player, Dutch is an up and coming player to watch. As a businessman, he apparently needs to learn a few things.
