2005 WSOP Update (Wednesday)Lady and Gentleman
Well if you haven’t heard, we have a lady who is in the top ten at the WSOP. Her name: Tiffany Williamson. Though she was born in the United States she now works in London, England as an attorney. She won a $10 satellite to get here and she has been quoted as saying she likes playing with the top players in the world.
We lost a few people yesterday the most notable was Howard Lederer and Paul Darden. Greg Fossilman Raymer is no longer in 1st but he does have 700,000 in chips going into day 5 at the WSOP. Phil Ivey is in 5th with just over 2 million in chips and John Juanda has over 850,000 in chips.
But the question on everyone’s mind right now is can the Fossilman do it again? Time will tell as they are down to 58 players and they should get down to 27 by the end of the day. Will Raymer be there? Or will we have the first woman in the WSOP to win the main event? I know that Tiffany will try and what if Phil Ivey will he stay focused and win the big one in 2005. Play starts at noon on the west coast and it is just a couple hours away so time will tell sooner than some would wish. As a parting note here are the top 10 chip leaders as of last night at close.
